Paulin Engambee
Paulin Engambee has been living in Dzaleka, Malawi since March 2012, when he came to seek asylum due to insecurity. He is from Uvira in South-Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo. He started drawing at the age of 10 and went to a painting school thereafter. He currently runs a home-based gallery where he draws and paints alongside his wife, who does various crafts. Paulin is a talented artist who has participated in a number of exhibitions in and outside the camp. However he still faces a few challenges: low buying prices for his work, poor painting materials, ect.
